Montgomery County Council Approves Updated Covid Restrictions/Notes From Meeting
Today the Montgomery County Council introduced, conducted a public hearing, and voted on the amended Executive Order that includes updates a Covid restrictions. It was unanimously approved.

In September we let you know that Fleet Feet would be returning to the Kentlands after closing the previous location at 255 Kentlands back in July due to a 90% decline in revenue.
It will be returning to Gaithersburg just about a quarter mile away at 201 West Market Street next to the Goldfish Swin School near Michael’s.

The National Weather Services Releases First Snow Forecast for Wednesday, 12/16
The Winter Storm Watch has now been extended to include all of MoCo

It wouldn’t be the DMV without uncertainty about winter weather.
A winter storm watch was issued for the N/NW part of MoCo earlier this morning for the Wednesday storm. The major networks have released their second round of forecasted snow totals, but models are still all over the place.

4pm UPDATE: The National Weather Service has increased the level of confidence and possible impact from the “enhanced” to “moderate” zone, which is one step below the most severe– “high” for half of MoCo.

Good news for anyone who missed the recently closed GameStop in the Aspen Hill shopping center. We’re told the world’s largest video game retail destination will be back and hopes to open by February 1st.
