Back in December we told you that Ulta would be taking over the old Dress Barn location in the Neelsville Shopping Center in Germantown. This morning we were told that they expect the location to open around October.
Ulta Beauty, an America beauty chain with over 1,000 stores that carry cosmetics, skincare brands, men’s and women’s fragrances, nail products, bath & body products, beauty tools, hair care products, and is equipped with a salon, brow bar, and skin bar, is coming to the Neelsville Village shopping center in Germantown.
Taco Bell in Burtonsville should open in “about a week,” according to the head of the construction crew putting the finishing touches on the fast food restaurant.
Located in Burtonsville Town Square, construction began back in the spring of 2019.
Party & Essentials is taking over the location that was home to Kim’s Tailor in the Hillcrest Center in Olney.
Located on Georgia Avenue, next to Intuition Boutique, the party supply shop is planning on opening on Monday, August 24th,
Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt is currently having its soft opening in the Kentlands.
It’s located on Market Street next to the new Bonchon location.
Pâte à Cake, a new bakery in Gaithersburg, is currently having a soft opening.
The new bakery offers a selection of ready made cakes to go, cake rolls, cupcakes, taro desserts, coffees, mousse cups, and more.
We Art Fun, a new paint-it-yourself studio will open in Germantown in September.
The location will be right across from the Germantown library.
Roosters Men’s Grooming Center, a National chain that provides an authentic barbershop experience in a modern, upscale, and unpretentious environment, is coming to Rio.
It will be taking over the old Omaha Steaks location at Grand Corner Avenue, across from Barnes & Noble.
On August 24th, 2020 Downtown Wheaton will be the new home of the Montgomery County Planning Board, Montgomery Parks and Montgomery Planning, all part of The Maryland-National Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC).
The newly constructed 14-story building, owned by M-NCPPC, is located on Reedie Drive near the Wheaton Metro Station. The building and surrounding site replaces the county-owned Wheaton Market Place parking lot with a LEED Platinum-rated, mixed-use building, a town square and a 400-space public parking garage.

This new Barnes & Noble is a short distance from its former location, but with a fresh look, reimagined book layout, and a B&N Café.
The Congressional Plaza Barnes & Noble will open on Wednesday with extensive safety precautions in place due to COVID-19. Both longtime and new customers in Rockville will find a bookstore of 13,000-square feet with a modern B&N Café serving food and drinks, including Nitro coffee. New features include an attractive display at the front of store for bestsellers and new releases so customers can quickly browse the latest books. There are also “book rooms” that make browsing and discovery more intuitive and enjoyable, and the children’s section is now arranged by reading age for more intuitive shopping.
Quickway, a Japanese quick service restaurant, will open its fifth MoCo location in Stone Mill Square, the shopping center that’s home to Korean Korner.
The regional chain now has restaurants in 25 different cities across the DMV.
