Collision Causes Vehicle to Overturn on Veirs Mill/Aspen Hill Roads
Overnight, at approximately 2:30am, a collision caused a vehicle to roll onto its side on Veirs Mill Road and Aspen Hill Road.
All southbound lanes of the I-270 spur are closed just past Democracy Blvd (exit 1) due to a vehicle collision involving two tractor trailers.
This will be an extended closure due to the fuel spill that was a result of the collision.
A utility pole has fallen onto the power lines on Nicholson Lane in Rockville in front of Far East Restaurant after a vehicle struck the pole late last night causing a vehicle fire.
The driver was evaluated and refused transportation. The pole was sheared in half and a wheel from the vehicle ended up in a nearby Pizza Hut.
