Winter Weather Advisory for Northwest MoCo Starting at 5pm This Afternoon
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Northwest MoCo starting at 5pm this afternoon and ending at 7am Tuesday morning (2/16).
Per the National Weather Service, northwest MoCo included places north and west of Gaithersburg like Germantown, Clarksburg, Damascus, Poolesville, etc.
Freezing rain is expected with accumulations of around a tenth of an inch expected.
The NWS warns to use caution while traveling and to prepare for possible power outages.
