Starbucks in Montgomery Village Update
Back in October we first reported that Starbucks was coming to the redeveloped Montgomery Village Shopping Center. We can now confirm that it will be located at the former site of the Montgomery Village Denny’s (19290 Montgomery Village Ave), directly facing the new Lidl grocery store that is currently being built across the street at the site of the former Montgomery Village Professional Center.
The Denny’s location, which had also previously been a Shoney’s and Bob’s Big Boy, was torn down last year. Construction on the new Montgomery Village Starbucks has not yet begun. Construction is currently ongoing at the new Starbucks location at the Spectrum in Gaithersburg, which we’re told is expected to open this fall.
