Several Apartment Buildings Flooded in Rockville, One Person Has Died and Two are Unaccounted For
Residents of Congressional Towers and Rock Creek Woods Apartments were evacuated this morning due to flooding caused by heavy rain overnight.
Water rescues were performed for residents this morning and FOX 5 is reporting that one person has died. At this this time there are still two individuals who are unaccounted for.
The Mid-County Community Recreation Center at 2004 Queensguard Rd in Silver Spring will now be a reception center for residents from the Rockville apartment buildings that were affected by flooding. Red Cross is currently at the center assisting.
