Freeze Warning/Frost Advisory for MoCo Wednesday Morning

A Freeze Warning will be in effect for Northwest MoCo and a Frost Advisory will be in effect for Central and Southeast MoCo from 2am until 10am on Wednesday morning.

For the warning areas, (Germantown, Clarksburg, Damascus, Poolesville, etc.) sub-freezing temperatures as low as 29° can be expected.

For the advisory areas, temperatures as low as 33° can result in frost formation.

Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left u covered, so it’s advised to take steps to protect tender plants from the cold.

The Alleghenies received their first snowfall of the season last night with a light dusting to two inches on grassy areas.
