Silver Spring Retailer Sells $50,000 Winning Bonus Match 5 Ticket

Per the Maryland Lottery:
Lucky ticket sold in July 7 drawing
If you see someone smiling constantly today, ask if they bought a Bonus Match 5 ticket in Silver Spring for the Thursday, July 7 drawing. A lucky player won the game’s $50,000 top prize!

Wheaton Winery located at 2211 University Boulevard in Silver Spring sold the winning ticket, which matches the five winning numbers of 10, 13, 16, 29 and 31; the Bonus Ball was 11. Lottery officials urge the winner to sign the back of the ticket and put it in a safe place. The player has 182 days to claim the prize.

This is the 26th top-prize-winning Bonus Match 5 ticket of 2022. The lucky Montgomery County retailer, Wheaton Winery, also has reason to celebrate. The Lottery will give the store a bonus of $500 for selling the top-prize winning ticket.

Instructions on claiming prizes in person or by mail are available HERE. Players must redeem prizes larger than $25,000 by mail or at Lottery headquarters in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330 in Baltimore. The Lottery’s Claims Center in Baltimore is open by appointment only (no walk-ins). Click HERE to schedule an appointment. Winners can also drop off a winning ticket along with a completed claim form and copies of their photo ID and proof of Social Security/Tax ID number in the Lottery drop box in the Montgomery Park Business Center lobby.
