Police and Family Concerned for Missing 15-Year-Old

Update: Kaya Stephens has been located safe and unharmed.
Per MCPD:  Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 15-year-old. Kaya Stephens was last seen on March 4, 2023 at approximately 3:45 p.m., in the 600 block of Sligo Avenue. Stephens is approximately 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. She is described as having medium length brown hair, brown eyes, pierced ears, and a pierced nose. She was last seen wearing a white crop top, baggy blue jeans, black converse sneakers, and carrying a black backpack.  Police and family are concerned for her welfare.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Kaya Stephens is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301)279-8000 (24-hour line) or the Special Victims Investigations Division at (240)773-5000. Callers may remain anonymous.
