Planet Fitness Takoma Park is Now Open

Earlier this year we let you know that Planet Fitness announced it will be opening new locations at 6881 New Hampshire Ave. in Takoma Park (now open) and 2201 Randolph Rd. in Wheaton (Glenmont). The Takoma Park location opened a few weeks back, according to a representative we spoke with this morning, with Planet Fitness Wheaton (Glenmont) coming soon.  which will be next to the existing Lidl, has announced its opening date.

According to Planet Fitness,the location will offerstate-of-the-art cardio machines and strength equipment, a 30-Minute Express Circuit, fully equipped locker roomsand numerous flat screen televisions. They also will feature a PF Black Card®Spa area with HydroMassage beds, massage chairs, tanning, a RelaxSpace Wellness Pod (where members can relax, reset and focus on their mental health for up to 15 minutes) and a Recovery Lounge offering a multi-sensory experience combining hot, cold and compression therapy.”

Memberships, starting at $10/month for the Classic Card, include free fitness training led by a certified fitness trainer through the pe@pf® program. During a special pre-saleperiod, the PF Black Card® membership will be discounted to $19.99/month. It includes the ability to bring a guest every day at no additional charge, access to all 2,400+ Planet Fitness locations in all 50 states, and access to HydroMassage beds, massage chairs and tanning, among other benefits.
