Police Investigating 7-Eleven Armed Robbery; Surveillance Video Released

Per MCPD: Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at a 7-Eleven in the 10200 block of New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring. Detectives have released surveillance video of the suspects and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them.

The investigation by detectives has revealed that two suspects entered the store and immediately went behind the counter. The suspects order the employees to turn around and not move. One suspect opened the register and stole an undisclosed amount of money. The second suspect, who had a gun in his waistband, began filling a bag with items from behind the counter. Both suspects left the 7-Eleven in a white Dodge minivan.

Detectives reviewed the surveillance footage of the store and obtained a description of the suspects.

Both suspects are described as Black males, approximately 5-feet, 7-inches tall with a slim build. The first suspect was wearing all dark clothing, a black mask and had his hair styled in locs. The second suspect was wearing all dark clothing, had a thin black beard and was carrying a duffel bag.
