Clarksburg Man Arrested in Montgomery Village for Possession of Drugs and Firearm

A Clarksburg man is currently being held without bond after being arrested last week for possession of drugs and a firearm.

Per the news release: 24-year-old Rasheed Quiovers, of Clarksburg, has been arrested and charged for allegedly being in possession of drugs and a firearm following an investigation.

On Thursday, April 4, 2024, officers from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 5th District Community Action Team (DCAT) were in the area of Highland Hall Dr. and conducted a traffic stop on an off-white Toyota. Officers recognized the passenger as Quiovers and confirmed that he had two open warrants in Montgomery County. Quiovers was taken into custody without incident. During a search of Quiovers person, officers located suspected Molly (MDMA) pills, 44 M30 suspected fentanyl pills, a live ammunition round, a digital scale and three Alprazolam pills.

Further investigation revealed that Quiovers was allegedly in possession of a backpack that contained a loaded .45 caliber Glock 21 handgun with an extended 30-round magazine and a full-auto switch installed, approximately 1,025 M30 suspected fentanyl pills, marijuana, packaging materials, a digital CDS scale and a large amount of cash. Quiovers was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit where he has been charged with multiple drug and firearm charges.

He is currently being held without bond.
