A Wind Advisory will be in effect from noon today until midnight in Montgomery County
Per the National Weather Service:
“A strong low pressure system offshore will bring strong winds across much of the area today. A Wind Advisory has been issued along/west of the Blue Ridge and along/north of the I-66 corridor from noon today until midnight Wednesday.”
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue warns that we should expect NW winds or 25-35mph and gusts up to ~50mph.
IMPACTS: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
