Last Weekend to See “Middle Eastern American Artists in the Garden and Beyond” at Brookside Gardens

Brookside Gardens partnered with the Middle Eastern American (MEA) Advisory Group of the Office of Community Partnerships to co-sponsor the exhibition Middle Eastern American Artists in the Garden and Beyond.

As of yesterday the demolition of every part of the building was complete, leaving the clean-up efforts and construction of the new Woodward High School building next up as we approach summer. In the most recent FAQ about the reopening of Woodward High School, MCPS provided the following information:

Café Sophie, a European Style Café with Scandinavian Influence, is Replacing the Airport Cafe at the Montgomery County Airport

The café will offer indoor and outdoor “air-side” dining, serving breakfast, lunch, and grab-n-go sandwiches.

Montgomery Parks is canceling this year’s Wings of Fancy Live Butterfly & Caterpillar Exhibit at Brookside Gardens, due to the health and safety concerns related to COVID-19.
