As reported earlier today by Source of the Spring, a notice on the door refers customers to their College Park location.
Last February the company announced that they’d be closing 50 stores nationally. At the time, there were 6 MoCo locations. Now there are just three– Kentlands, Germantown, and Rockville.
The food is described as “a fun twist on American.” Take a look below.
Nimah tweeted, “While running for SMOB, I had a wonderful, enriching, and positive experience. I’m speaking out, however, because I recently received vile, disgusting, and hateful messages- attached below. I was disappointed and upset by the messages, but heartened and empowered by the support.”
“I will never let cowards shake me, and I will never let hate change me” said Nimah in a later tweet.
Two families have been displaced, but there were no injuries to the residents.

This summer MoCo residents have a new weekend happy hour hangout where they can dip their toes in the sand, enjoy an Orange Crush Cocktail (it is the beach cocktail) and relax at The Beach at Pike & Rose. They don’t need to drive 3+ hours to the Maryland or Delaware shore for this fun beach destination – it’s in their backyards.
Open daily, The Beach is a place to meet for lunch, play games and relax. On weekends it will feature the Beach Bar, hosted by Ridgewells Catering and offer beach inspired cocktails, beer and wine, as well as light snacks.
Yesterday they posted the photo above– looking at the outline of the gymnasium, cafeteria and auditorium.
Construction of the new building is taking place on the school’s old athletic fields. Once the new building is completed, the new athletic fields will be built where the current building stands today.
Saturday, May 19th will be the 2nd Annual BBQ to Drink Beer to Bluesfest. Local Blues Legends like the Bad Influence Band and Big Boy Little will be playing at the festival. The food and drink specials start at 11AM and the music runs from 1PM to 7PM. Smoked Brisket and Spare Ribs are just a few of the items that will be featured. Don’t forget to grab a Crowler of beer to-go for only $10.
Sunday, May 20th Dogfish will be having an adoption event entitled Paws on the Patio from noon to 4PM. Key to Lion’s Heart & Lizzie’s Lodge Rescues will both be there, as well as other K9 vendors. Dogfish will be giving away specials Paws on the Patio pint glasses!

They’ve kept some of your favorites like the lamb chops, lollipop chicken, Chef D Platter, saganaki, zucchini fritters, mini gyro, etc. and have added about 10 new dishes for the warmer months.
Not pictured is the ‘Crab n’ Cake’ because I forgot to take a picture of it before we gobbled it down. It was tied with the Lamb Frites as my favorite dishes, but our party enjoyed all of the new flavors.
