Earlier this month Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels and wide receiver Terry McLaurin were named to the 2025 Pro Bowl (fan voting). Now, four Commanders were voted 2nd team All-Pro by the Associated Press.

Update: A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for parts of the DC Metro Area, including C/SW Montgomery County
The National Weather Service (NWS) writes that a “period of light to moderate snow will overspread the region this evening into tonight. Some lingering snow east of I-95 Saturday morning, then dry/cold through the weekend.”
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has shared they are continuing to investigate the 1976 murders of the Bishop family in Potomac, MD. “People Magazine Investigates” which can be seen on MAX, reports on the case in an episode of Season 8 titled “My Father was a Mass Murderer”.

Police Seek Assistance in Locating Family of Pedestrian Who Was Critically Injured on New Year’s Eve
Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) – Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) are asking for the public’s help in locating the family of 56-year-old Juan Ixpata-Vasquez, who was critically injured on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 in Silver Spring.

The upcoming Wegmans location in Rockville has shared that a late summer 2025 opening is expected in the store in a recent job listing for the store, “Join our team at our new Wegmans location in Rockville, MD opening in Late Summer 2025!”
It has been approximately one year since Buc-ee’s broke ground on its upcoming location in Rockingham County, VA. The store will be located at the exit 240 interchange along Interstate 81 (located near Harrisonburg, VA)- over 125 miles and about two hours from most parts of Montgomery County. The Texas- based company is now aiming for a June 30th opening.
