Maryland State Police arrested a 17-year-old from Elkton, MD and recovered more than 250 grams of fentanyl following a months-long investigation into a Cecil County drug trafficking operation.
A federal grand jury indicted Erik Lee Madison of Halethorpe, MD on charges including sexual exploitation of a child, coercion and enticement of a child, and cyberstalking, following his arrest earlier this month.
According to court documents, Madison is accused of targeting minors while associated with an online extremist group, with potential federal prison sentences ranging from 10 years to life if convicted.

The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects connected to a reported theft at an Ulta Beauty store on Columbia Pike in Burtonsville. Detectives from the 3rd District Patrol Investigations Unit released surveillance images of the individuals and are seeking information that may help identify them. (more…)
This month marks four years since Seibel’s Family Restaurant at 15540 Old Columbia Pike in Burtonsville closed its doors, ending more than 82 years of serving the community.
