Montgomery Parks is opening a new mountain biking course, Wheaton Gravity Mountain Bike Park, to draw thrill-seeking riders to Wheaton Regional Park. The grand opening takes place on Sunday, July 21 from 11am until 12pm (Rain date: Sunday, July 28, 2024, 11am- 12pm). The event will take place in the Wheaton Regional Park Shorefield area (2000 Shorefield Road, Wheaton, Md., 20902). The mountain bike park is located in the woods behind the Adventure Playground.

Peter Chang Restaurant opened at 637 N Frederick Ave in Gaithersburg last April, taking over the location that was occupied by Ichiban since 1985 (Ichiban closed in September 2021 after 35 years in business.)
