If elected, Anleu will focus on making housing more attainable for more people, building a better transportation network and facilitating new development in the area. Prior to working for the Planning Board, Anleu worked as a staffer for Council President Tom Hucker for nearly five years.
“It has been an honor to serve the residents of this district,” said Anleu. “This district has a number of challenges and needs, including long overdue activity centers in Burtonsville and White Oak, bike and pedestrian safety issues, and school overcrowding. My experience delivering policy changes, capital funding and prompt constituent service makes me uniquely prepared to tackle these and other issues on day one.”
