Metro GM/CEO Paul Wiedefeld announced that Metro is mobile-ready earlier today.
Back in April 2018 Metro announced that Mobile payments will be supported on Metrorail, Metrobus, and regional bus services that accept SmarTrip, but today the announcement came that SmarTrip is coming to iPhone and Apple Watch in 2020.
No word on android devices at the moment, but I would imagine that’s coming soon as well.
