A five vehicle collision in the area of Wheaton Mall, at the intersection of University Blvd W and Veirs Mill Road, send six people to the hospital late last night.
At approximately 11:45pm, the collision ejected one person from their vehicle and trapped another in theirs.

Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh announced today that his Consumer Protection Division has reached a settlement with Just Puppies of Maryland, Inc., Just Puppies, Inc., and Mitchell Thomson, the companies’ owner (Just Puppies) concerning their sale of puppies to consumers that the Division alleged violated the Consumer Protection Act and the No More Puppy Mills Act.
The settlement prevents Just Puppies from selling dogs in Maryland, provides restitution to Maryland consumers who purchased puppies that had a congenital disorder or hereditary condition or illness at the time of purchase, and imposes civil penalties.
Holy Cross will be opening a cancer treatment facility at the former location of Circuit City in Wheaton. The location was most recently home to the Anna Mendez School.
Construction on the project began this past week and the scheduled opening date is August 2022.
