The Maryland Department of Health has confirmed two new cases of measles in Southern Maryland residents who recently traveled to a U.S. location experiencing an active outbreak. Health officials are working to notify anyone who may have been exposed and are urging Marylanders to review the listed exposure locations, monitor for symptoms, and ensure they are up to date on their measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccinations.
