With North Potomac and North Bethesda constantly finding their way into the conversation, even when they’re not the main topic, we’re taking a closer look at some well-known spots around the area to answer a simple question: “Is it in Rockville?” While many places are commonly referred to as Rockville, that doesn’t always mean they fall within official city limits. Event

Join Us for StoryBox Comics Fair, a two-day festival celebrating local and independent comics authors!

Day 1 – Saturday, June 27th, 11-5pm @ DwightMess compound (805 Silver Spring Ave): Events are open to the public, admission is FREE. Featuring Special Guest Artists, gallery exhibitions, workshops, artist talks, a modeling session (suggested donation) and exhibitors, you can dig in to indie comics and also tour the compound, which features an extensive comics collection, a rare video collection, Risograph and screenprinting studios.


DC Sports

The Washington Commanders are coming off a disappointing season in which their defense ranked among the worst in the NFL. They finished last in total defense, allowing 384 yards per game, while also landing in the bottom five against the pass at 242.5 yards per game and the bottom three against the run at 141.8 yards per game. The unit also struggled to keep teams off the scoreboard, finishing in the bottom six in points allowed at 26.5 per game.

MoCo Government

Montgomery County Council committees will meet on April 27 to review multiple components of the FY27 Operating Budget, including funding for adult English literacy programs, the KID Museum, Montgomery College, and Montgomery County Public Schools, as well as services within the Department of Health and Human Services.
