Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School (13737 Wisteria Dr. Germantown, MD) evacuated the building on Thursday morning due to a fire alarm. The school sent out a message assuring the community the students and staff are safe, but moved to Lake Seneca ES due to the low temperatures. The iconic Dunkin’ at 2405 Reedie Drive in Wheaton is temporarily closed as it undergoes major renovations. On Wednesday, Maryland Governor Wes Moore announced the appointment of Tabatha Robinson as director of the Maryland Cannabis Administration.
