Spring Wine Fling, organized by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW), will run from March 20 to March 31, offering a two-course dinner with two glasses of wine for $55 at participating restaurants across the DC region. Attorney General Anthony G. Brown announced that a Baltimore County Grand Jury has issued a third indictment against Michael C. Okolo, 68, of Parkville, Maryland, for allegedly misusing $100,000 intended for a real estate investment. Okolo, previously indicted for theft and insurance fraud, is accused of misappropriating client funds for personal and business expenses, with trials scheduled for June 12, 2025, and an initial court appearance for the latest case set for April 14, 2025.

Montgomery County’s Office of Procurement will host the “Montgomery County is Open for Business” event on March 31 at the Silver Spring Civic Building to help Federal contractors explore local government opportunities. Montgomery County Council committees will review amendments to the FY25-30 Capital Improvements Program (CIP) and the FY26 Capital Budget on March 20, focusing on projects such as the Olney Community Building, Olney Infant and Toddler Program site improvements, county office renovations, and Montgomery College facility upgrades.
