The St. James Performance Club Announces Opening Date for Bethesda Location

The St. James, one of the DC area’s premier athletic, wellness and entertainment brands, today announced that its third Performance Club will debut on January 28, 2023 in downtown Bethesda (6807 Wisconsin Avenue). Founded by two former athletes, The St. James’ first launched its elite training experience at the Springfield Flagship in Fall of 2018, later rolling out the Performance Club model at Reston Town Center in the Summer of 2022, before landing in Bethesda.

The Bethesda Performance Club, a multi-level facility boasting ample natural light, will feature 40,000 sq. ft of training space including high-agility turf, a short-course lap pool, and premium studios for its athletic inspired group fitness classes and Build, Burn, Recover methodology. Grounded in sports science, The St. James’ 360-degree approach to training, oers members a customized program designed to meet their individual goals and personal potential. With both digital and in-person programs ranging from Infantry Camp to Vinyasa Yoga, the Bethesda location combines expert-curated training formats with custom nutrition and recovery offerings for an elite experience inspired by that available to professional athletes.

The St. James’ Courted Recovery Suite will feature recovery modalities utilized by the world’s best athletes, including cryotherapy, infrared sauna and cold plunge contrast therapy, IV Micronutrient Infusion and compression therapy. While designed to support members’ recovery needs, Courted services are also available to non-members and can be booked directly on Courted.com. The Bethesda Performance Club will also be home to a street-level Vim & Victor Wellness Bar designed by Chef Spike Mendelsohn, with nutritious options like cold pressed juices and customized acai bowls that suit both your taste buds and your wellness goals.

The St. James Bethesda Performance Club will open on January 28th, 2023 at 6828 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20815. Until opening, The St. James Performance Club Bethesda is offering Founding Membership rates with two options – the Signature membership to the Bethesda Performance Club only, or Washington Region Access, which includes all three locations. Memberships include four private training sessions including biometric screening and analysis, as well as two guest passes per month. Current members will have the option to add the Bethesda Performance Club to their existing plan, providing more flexibility between work week and weekend fitness needs. Local businesses can also purchase a corporate wellness membership as part of their benefits program.
