Montgomery County is made up of 3 cities, 12 towns, 4 villages, 33 census designated places and 5 unincorporated communities. There are around 1 million people living in MoCo, and Forbes ranked us the 10th richest county in America a few years back.
This list is subjective. I’ve created it using a wide range of criteria that includes: enjoyable environment, proximity to metro/highways, school districts, crime, walkability, things to do, personal experience, multiple polls, etc., but ultimately it comes down to personal preference. I’m imagining an average home that I would be able to drop in any of these locations to live in going forward.Overall, MoCo is a great place to live and i’m sure you can think of plenty of amazing things that describe the area you live in. If your area isn’t included in this list, it does not mean that it’s not a great place to live, but after extensive research…I have come up with the definitive list of the 12 best places to live in MoCo.
