Agora, which opened its first restaurant at 1527 17th St NW DC back in 2010, is a Mediterranean restaurant specializing in Turkish, Greek, and Lebanese cuisine served tapas-style. The restaurant has since opened a location in Tysons Corner, VA in 2019, and will now be opening its first Maryland location in Bethesda, according to Biz Journals.

While we don’t have much information about it, an unlucky Marylander lost their boat at the intersection of Montrose Rd. and Falls Rd. in the Rockville/Potomac area on Wednesday morning. Several readers sent in photos and videos of the boat, which we are told is causing some traffic issues at the intersection. The video can be seen below:

Attman’s Delicatessen is a true Maryland institution, renowned for its authentic Jewish American deli fare and its enduring family legacy. Established in 1915 on Baltimore’s historic “Corned Beef Row” by Ukrainian immigrant Harry Attman, the deli initially began as a small grocery store selling imported delicacies. Over time, it shifted its focus to the now-famous deli meats and sandwiches that have made it a beloved landmark with an additional location opening in Montgomery County, MD in 2012 and Harbor Point (Baltimore) last year.

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has initiated a comprehensive road repair project on Democracy Boulevard, stretching from I-270 to Seven Locks Road. The project, aimed at improving infrastructure for residents and motorists, will be executed in two phases and is expected to take approximately 10 to 12 weeks to complete, weather permitting.

Bethesda is set for a sweet summer with the arrival of a new King Arthur Baking Company pop-up at the Shops at Wildwood, located at 10207 Old Georgetown Rd. This space, formerly home to Indigo Octopus until June 28th, will mark King Arthur Baking’s first location in Maryland. Indigo Octopus is relocating to Bethesda Row.
