Montgomery County honored Katie Ledecky, 9-time Olympic Gold medalist and 2024 Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, with an honorary “Katie Ledecky Lane” road marker outside her alma mater, Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bethesda. Ledecky has a total of 14 Olympic medals (9 gold). She is also the most decorated American woman, most decorated female swimmer, and fifth most decorated athlete in Olympic history.
The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in two robberies that took place on Monday, September 9, 2024.
