The “Grandparent Scam” is on the rise, according to a recent community advisory by Takoma Park Police.
On November 25, at approximately 6:46 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 1100 block of University Blvd (Chuck E Cheese) for an armed robbery that had just occurred.
Chief Antonio DeVaul from the Takoma Park Police Department announced the arrest of a 15-year-old female juvenile of Hyattsville, Maryland, for residential burglary.
