James Brunson, 41, and Ernest Hudson, 38, were sentenced for leading a violent drug trafficking organization in Baltimore, following a 16-month investigation by the Maryland Attorney General’s Organized Crime Unit. A total of 33 individuals were charged in connection with the organization, with several already sentenced for crimes related to drug distribution, firearms offenses, and participation in a criminal organization. On Friday, March 14th, at approximately 6:45 AM, a Sherwood High School teacher experienced an attempted car theft while visiting the Starbucks located in the Shoppes at Olney shopping center (3126 Olney Sandy Spring Rd). We interviewed the teacher who told us she typically visits the Starbucks on Friday mornings as a weekly treat and reported that she has never encountered anything like this at that location.

Christopher Stuart Crittenden, 54, of Frederick, was arrested on Thursday, March 13, and charged with assault and disorderly conduct after allegedly punching a United Airlines gate agent at Gate D12 at Dulles International Airport. The Maryland-National Capital Park Police Montgomery County Division have issued a statement after the Montgomery County Police Department announced that human remains were discovered in Rock Creek Regional Park on March 1, 2025. While the exact location of the remains is not being disclosed to protect the investigation, authorities assure the public that there is no immediate safety threat and encourage park visitors to continue their activities as usual. On Thursday, U.S. District Judge James K. Bredar sentenced Daniel Valentin-Morales, 35, of Frederick, Maryland, to 13 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release for one count of coercion and enticement. Judge Bredar also ordered that Valentin-Morales, who was a substitute teacher in Frederick County, must register as a sex offender in places where he resides and is employed, upon his release from prison, pursuant to the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.
