The Washington Commanders have officially unveiled their new alternate jerseys for the upcoming season, much to the excitement of a fanbase eager to reconnect with the franchise’s storied past. The new threads, featuring the classic white top and burgundy bottom, hark back to the team’s most dominant period, often referred to as the “Super Bowl Era.” They also include  gold face mask.

Vinny Cerrato led the Washington Redskins’ personnel department throughout the 2000s as their de facto general manager before parting ways with the team permanently in 2009. Charlie Cerrato, Vinny’s son, was just drafted in the second of the NHL Draft by the Carolina Hurricanes.

A Washington Commanders spokesperson has released a statement after DC Council chairman Phil Mendelson proposed pulling the Commanders stadium deal from the upcoming budget. Noah Brown joined the Washington Commanders in August 2024 and made an immediate impact during his nine starts until a kidney injury cut his season short. Recently, he sustained an injury during minicamp, and while the team hasn’t provided an official update since his MRI, a fan offered some reassurance.
