As of 1pm, a Winter Storm Watch remains in effect for most of the area from 1pm Tuesday until 7am Wednesday. I suspect that later today this will be upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning for many nearby areas and a Winter Weather Advisory for areas to the north of us.

We fully expect Winter Storm Watches to be issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) later today ahead of Tuesday’s potential storm. Last night’s model runs increased projected snow totals and much of the immediate area is now in the ‘significant snow risk’ category.
