Commas Food Hall, a new 13,000-square-foot food destination on the third level of Ellsworth Place (8661 Colesville Rd) in Downtown Silver Spring, is slated to open later this spring. One of its featured stalls is Tokoa Cheesesteaks, which local food reviewer “Big Schlim” has rated with his highest honor, “STAMP,” after several visits.

Silver Spring, MD) will close permanently on Friday, January 31st, based on two phone call conversations with the store. Today, several readers have shared they tried making one last trip and the restaurant was already closed. One reader stated he spoke with employees who were inside and was told the restaurant closed earlier than expected. Phone calls made to Jerry’s were not answered Tuesday afternoon.
