Montgomery County Board of Education members Ms. Shebra Evans and Ms. Brenda Wolfe recently joined Superintendent Dr. Monifa McKnight and Councilmember Natali Fani-González to celebrate John F. Kennedy’s national PTA School of Excellence. Kennedy is one of seven schools currently being celebrated for earning this award:
All schools and offices are open on time Thursday, Jan. 18. Before and After school childcare programs and Community Use occur as scheduled. For Employees: All employees report on time.

Code Yellow / Delayed Opening – Schools and Central Offices Opening 2 hours Late Due to persistent icy conditions and significantly low temperatures, MCPS Schools and central offices will open two hours late on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
