As noted earlier this year, Montgomery College will host “In Conversation with Giancarlo Esposito” at the Robert E Parilla Performing Arts Center in Rockville on Thursday, November 7.  Esposito is perhaps best known for his role as Gustavo Fring in AMC’s “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul.”

Beef was one of Netflix’s top shows in 2023 and was a breakout role for Montgomery County, MD native Young Mazino (born Christopher Young Kim). Since then, he has signed on to join the cast of hit HBO series The Last of Us, playing Jesse– “an important member of his community whose selflessness sometimes comes at a cost.”

Update: LA Knight has won the WWE’s United States Championship by defeating Logan Paul.

Before he was LA Knight, one of the hottest superstars in professional wrestling today, Shaun Ricker was a kid growing up in Hagerstown, Maryland. He graduated from North Hagerstown High School (class of 2000), where he was in the band and ran track, but always dreamed of becoming a professional wrestler. On Saturday night, he takes on WWE United States Champion Logan Paul in Paul’s hometown of Cleveland, Ohio.
