The Greek Orthodox Church of St. George in Bethesda, MD, will hold its annual Greek Festival on Saturday, May 31 from 12pm-9pm, and Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 12pm-7pm. The festival will be held on the church grounds at 7701 Bradley Boulevard in Bethesda, and is free and open to the public.

Additional details have been released about the 2025 Taste of Wheaton, which will take place on Sunday, June 1 at Marian Fryer Town Plaza (2424 Reedie Drive) in Wheaton. The annual community event features food, live music and dance, rides, and children’s activities. The 16th annual Gaithersburg Book Festival will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Bohrer Park in Gaithersburg. Flags for Our Heroes, featuring a giant display of American flags, returns to the lawn at Bohrer Park at Summit Hall Farm in Gaithersburg on Friday, May 23 through Monday, May 26. A formal opening ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 24 at 11 a.m. There will be a flag retirement ceremony on Sunday, May 25 at 6:30 p.m.
