The City of Gaithersburg announced its popular Summer Outdoor Concert Series returns to the City Hall Concert Pavilion. Free, family-friendly concerts take place in June and July. Bring a blanket or low-back chair for lawn seating.
Montgomery County, in partnership with local governments and organizations, will host its 28th annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown, featuring live performances, vendors, food, and community programming under the theme “Pushing Back – The Fight for Freedom is Not Over.” The festivities begin with the African American Living Legends Awards Ceremony on June 20, honoring residents over age 75 for their significant contributions to the county, as leaders emphasize the importance of preserving and celebrating African American history and culture. The Greek Orthodox Church of St. George in Bethesda, MD, will hold its annual Greek Festival on Saturday, May 31 from 12pm-9pm, and Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 12pm-7pm. The festival will be held on the church grounds at 7701 Bradley Boulevard in Bethesda, and is free and open to the public.
