Gaithersburg’s Rio Lakefront is hosting its annual “Light Up the Lakefront” event on Saturday, December 7th from 5pm-7pm that will feature a fireworks display over the lake.

A Quince Orchard High School senior has created “6th Fear Haunted Trail: Out of this World,” a free haunted trail in North Potomac that runs Halloween night and the following two evenings.
