Palacio De Peru is set to open at 19222 Montgomery Village Ave in the Montgomery Village Center, taking over the space previously occupied by Moe’s Southwest Grill, which closed at the end of August.

In 2011, ISI Elite Training founder Adam Rice opened his first facility in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Adam selected the name ISI Elite Training based on Proverbs 27:17: “Iron Sharpens Iron, as one person sharpens another.” Now, the training facility has signed on to open its first Montgomery County location in the Traville Village Center in Rockville.
The 31st annual Oktoberfest returns to transform the Kentlands in Gaithersburg, with multiple stages of live entertainment featuring traditional Bavarian music & dancing, along with local, regional & national talent. The event will take place on Sunday, October 13th from 12pm-5pm.
Back in 2021, Bowlero Corp (“Bowlero”) announced that it completed its acquisition of Bowl America and its 17 bowling centers in Florida, Virginia and Maryland for approximately $44 million. A little less than three years later, the Gaithersburg location has officially made the change to the Bowlero brand (photos below).

The 2024 Taiwan Bubble Tea Festival will take place this Saturday, September 21st from 10am until 4pm at Rockville Town Square. Pleasant View Park, the 30th park in the City of Gaithersburg’s inventory, opened to the public on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. The park is open from dawn to dusk (preview video below).
On Monday, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) Station 8 rescued a dog that was trapped under a deck in Gaithersburg after receiving a call for help from a resident. The dog was freed unharmed.
