During its April 1 meeting, the Gaithersburg Mayor and City Council officially appointed Darnell E. Ingram as Gaithersburg’s new full-time City Attorney. Ingram will assume the duties of City Attorney effective May 1, 2024.
MoCo native Stefon Diggs has been traded to the Houston Texans, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The four-time Pro Bowler grew up in Gaithersburg and attended Good Counsel High School in Olney, where he played football and ran track. He will go on to play with second-year quarterback CJ Stroud, who excelled in his first NFL season last year.
The Gaithersburg Department of Public Works announced that road construction will be performed on Summit Avenue at East Diamond Avenue. The work is anticipated to begin on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, weather permitting.
