Last November we let you know that Sodexo committed its U.S. headquarters to 915 Meeting Street, a new 276,000-square-foot trophy office building that recently opened in North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose development. Sodexo’s headquarters are currently located at 9801 Washingtonian Blvd in Gaithersburg (next to Rio Lakefront). The firm pulled a permit toward a $5.59 million fitout of 51,907 square feet at the North Bethesda building, and now Prime US REIT has signed the first tenant that will take part of the space vacated by Sodexo

Per Montgomery County: “In celebration of its 15th year, the Gaithersburg Book Festival will host former U.S. Poet Laureate Billy Collins for a special free event from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, at the Asbury Methodist Village Rosborough Cultural Arts Center in Gaithersburg. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a call for smoke coming from an abandoned structure on the 700 block of Muddy Branch Rd., near School Dr., at approximately 1:15 on Wednesday afternoon in Gaithersburg.
Montgomery Parks is inviting the public to discuss future renovations to Johnson’s Local Park in Gaithersburg. A previously scheduled meeting was cancelled due to winter weather concerns. The new meeting date is January 21, 2024.
