The City of Gaithersburg will hold its 32nd annual Oktoberfest on Sunday, October 12th from noon until 5pm. The Kentlands will be transformed into a lively festival filled with music, food, and family fun.

Taco Bar El Güero, located at 10003 B Fields Rd in Gaithersburg, boasts a rich history as a family-owned establishment since 2003. Originally launched in a gas station, the business took over a sandwich deli and beer and wine store and transformed it into a beloved Mexican food destination. Now, over two decades later, this popular restaurant is relocating, albeit just a short distance away.

The City of Gaithersburg and the Gaithersburg–Washington Grove Fire Department are set to celebrate the unofficial end of summer with the highly anticipated 87th Annual Labor Day Parade on Monday, September 1, 2025, at 10am. This year, the parade will be emceed by our very own Alex Tsironis, the founder of The MoCo Show. Leading the procession as Grand Marshal will be John Bauer, who serves as the Chair of the Gaithersburg Planning Commission and has been named the 2025 Distinguished Resident.
