Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to an automatic fire alarm on the 200 block of Market Street W, near Center Point Way (off of Main St.), in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands neighborhood on Saturday morning.

Bach to Rock, a longtime tenant at 212 Boardwalk Place at Gaithersburg’s Rio Lakefront, will be moving from the location later this year. We spoke with a representative from Bach 2 Rock Gaithersburg who told us that the music school will be moving to the Kentlands later this year.
Prime IV Hydration and Wellness has signed on to take the last remaining vacant location in the new Kentlands paseo, between Vine Alley and Neal’s Bagels.

Uptons, a discount department store that started in Georgia in 1985 and grew to 75 stores across the east coast by the mid 90s, opened a Montgomery County location in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands neighborhood- where The Colonnade development currently stands.
Scenthound has signed on to open a new location in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands neighborhood, taking the location that was previously home to Edible Arrangements near Bonefish.

Poke Bros has opened its first Maryland location in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands neighborhood at at 107 Market St W, in the space that was previously home to Next Day Blinds. The restaurant is offering 1/2 off bowls all day today, Thursday, November 16. Poke Bros opened its first location in 2016 and has since expanded to over 75 restaurants across the country.
