Governor Wes Moore announced that 43 Maryland businesses received a total of $5 million in grants through the Maryland Manufacturing 4.0 program to invest in Industry 4.0 technologies and modernize operations. Attorney General Anthony G. Brown announced that Rashad Jajuan Harrison, 34, of Baltimore, was convicted of a felony theft scheme for fraudulently obtaining $82,116.27 in state funds through the Child and Adult Care Food Program. Harrison, who submitted false reimbursement claims on behalf of his nonprofit, was sentenced to five years of supervised probation and ordered to pay restitution.
