The American Cancer Society has once again lowered the price of the property that was donated to the organization by former Washington Commanders owners Dan and Tanya Snyder in 2024. The house, located at 11900 River Rd. in Potomac, is now available for $24.9 million– a $5 million price drop from the previous $29.9 million price, and almost half of the $49 million it was initially listed for in February 2023.

Maryland Comptroller Brooke E. Lierman, in partnership with Governor Wes Moore and other state leaders, has launched a statewide initiative to increase awareness and uptake of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Child Tax Credit (CTC), after finding that at least 99,000 eligible Marylanders did not claim the EITC in 2023. The effort includes expanded outreach through the “Earned It” campaign, a research collaboration with the Urban Institute, and additional funding to support free tax filing services and improve equitable access to tax benefits.
