A Germantown man won a $50,000 top prize in the Maryland Lottery’s Bonus Match 5 drawing on October 30, years after missing out on a previous win when he forgot to play his usual numbers. Maryland’s six casinos generated approximately $162 million in gaming revenue in October 2025, a 1% increase compared to the same month last year, contributing $69.6 million to the state, including $50.1 million for the Education Trust Fund.
