Good Counsel Football Ranked 1st in WaPo’s Final Rankings; Three Other MoCo Schools Ranked in Top 20

Good Counsel football has ended their football season ranked first in the area in the Washington Post’s final football rankings after 10 consecutive victories, concluding with a big 7-0 victory over DeMatha on November 21st to win the WCAC Championship. (more…)

Legislation Requiring Gun Retailers to Distribute Information About Suicide Prevention and Firearm Safety Approved by County Council

From the Office of Councilmember Evan Glass: “Today the Montgomery County Council approved legislation introduced by Councilmember Evan Glass that aims to reduce the number of gun-related deaths. The law will require gun retail establishments in Montgomery County to provide information on suicide prevention, firearm safety and conflict resolution. (more…)
