Krispy Kreme has one standalone location in Montgomery County, in Rockville’s Fallsgrove Village Center. McDonald’s has dozens of locations across the county, with an estimated 284 locations across the state of Maryland.
On Saturday we let you know that Outback Steakhouse closed its Germantown location after more than 30 years in business. The closure is part of parent company Bloomin’ Brands decision to close 41 restaurants across its portfolio that also includes nearby closures of Bonefish in Ashburn, VA and Carrabba’s in Reston, VA.
Thai Union Group PCL has an announced its intention to pursue an exit of its investment in Red Lobster. has two Montgomery County locations- Gaithersburg and Silver Spring. There is no current plan to close either restaurant.
