Home sales across Montgomery County and Washington, D.C. dropped sharply in November, as rising inventory and ongoing economic uncertainty continued to shape the regional housing market, according to new data from the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS® (GCAAR).
KLNB has completed the sale of 189 Kentlands Boulevard in Gaithersburg, a two-story, 19,880-square-foot office property positioned on 1.28 acres in the center of the Kentlands community. As autumn settles across the region, the Montgomery County and Washington, D.C. housing markets are showing signs of seasonal slowdown. According to the latest report from the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS® (GCAAR), homes in September 2025 took noticeably longer to sell than they did a year earlier, signaling a market that’s stabilizing after several years of intense competition.
A major redevelopment is underway in Rockville, where Bethesda-based developer EYA LLC has purchased three parcels in the Decoverly Hall office campus for $18 million with plans to build over 200 townhomes, according to a Biz Journals report.
